Same-Sex Attraction

As many of you may already know, religion is developed through a group of people who share common believes.
Believes that would lead to a path of understandment and hopefully acceptance throughout society. A path, that usually results in the judgment with in others. A judgment, whose acumen development could lead to the pragmatical use of rejection and prosecution.
With in time, many view “same-sex attraction” as a religion. A religion of difference and uniqueness. A religion, who’s only purpose it to live peacefully with in a world of antidiscrimination and antiracism. A world who would consider the ideal of equality sustainable. An ideal that with in faith would lead to absolute freedom. Not only with in those who are considered “normal” but also with in those who are different. Nether the less, this a world of freedom and equality with in the many differences not a world of expressed hate.
In the constitution, it is clearly stated that under any means every individual is equal and there fore should be treated the same. Through many centuries “same-sex couples” have fought and struggled for equality. So why can’t they receive that equality desired? Aren’t they as well humans and deserve the same right to be protected and free?
Questions that continue to arose and bring this topic into a more controversy.
When will they gain their freedom?
[In my opinion, this specific religion uses pathos and logic. The words used throughout this religion are very contagious. There use of facts creates a very logical state of mind in which almost every individual should be able t understand their differences and need as humans. As this specific religion sates: God is the judge of your actions and life. Not the judge of your likes with in gender. Therefore, God will punish those who sin not those who are different.]

AP Students: I would like to ask for a bit of help. I am in search of further data. As many of you may already know my research paper will be based on Same-Sex Marriage. I would like to ask from you, that if you would like to participate to please send me a comment if you support or don’t support Same-Sex Marriage. Of course this is only if you would want to participate.
-Thank You..!

I am an advocate for same sex marriage and rights.

But honestly, what happened to the separation of church and state? The government more than ever is influenced by church through cases like abortion, stem cell, and of course, gay marriage.

And it's completely and totally unfair that us non-believers or more liberal believers are horribly outnumered by the conservatives.

It's fine that people believe in god and let that rule their life. That's okay. But once they start letting that belief make them think they have the right to start making decisions for other people on how they live their lives, they need to let go of that grip on their prayer books.

Ok, sorry, got a little caught up there. But you get my point. Gay marriage is something that people can hate, can like, whatever they feel. But they cannot take rights away from the people. That's not what this country's about.

Dear Jeni,
I agree with you that people that are different should not be judge only those that commit sins shouod be judge. Everyone is different and it should not matter what gender you like or anything else. Every person is a human being and every single one deserves rights and respect no matter the circumstancs. People of same sex should be left alone to do what they want and it shouldn't be a bother to anyone. It kind of is annoying that people make a big deal out of things that shouldn't really be as big and turn it into something extreme. I really enjoyed your blog can't wait until next time.

Dear Jennifer,
Culture influences people actions and there way of thinking. I do think that religion is another way to be judgmental, but with the excuse of god. This in my opinion is really absurd. As soon as people hear ‘same sex attraction’ they would start with a judgments of religion, and there only viewed or argument against it is religion. They might put a personal view, but it’s mostly based on religion. When people have ‘same attracted sex’ they either tend to defend them, or be against them and view them less. I agree with you that the law doesn’t define gender for freedom, but also remember church and state law and those do define gender. I also agree that ‘same sex’ are also humans, and they also deserve the same rights as any other person. In my personal opinion I think this fight against ‘same sex’ rights will continue for more centuries.

Jennifer,
When it comes to same sex attraction and religion its very very hard to come to a meaning. I think most of us seek of religion not because we want to be ina group but because deep inside of us we want to know that this isnt all that there is more after we die. Other than that religion plays a very large role in having same sex marriage accepted here in the U.S. Althought we are not allowed to have religion and government as a state. But look we have a lot okf human rights that are not even taken in consideration for example there is DARFUR they are under a severe genocide and in our Human Rights it says that in no country that should be tolerated and that anyone can travel from place to place, thus referring that there is no such thing as an "illegal" person in the world. Yet here we are in the 21st century what I did find surprising was that in the Human Rights it doesnt say anything about homosexuals being able to marry each other, but then again we dont follow anything now a days.

By the way thanks for your comment and yeah Im sorry my computer at home kind of messes up with the "e" haha if you kinda noticed that was one of the mistakes, and it doest help that I have typos and Im very lazy to crrect but thanks for the suggestion. And yes women are also just like men!! SADLY. In the end we are both human, but the website I posted before my blog was an article I was refering too, as in my thoughts of that article but either way thanks for your comment.

By that way ,again, haha I wrote a research paper on homosexuality, a few years back and Ill look back for this really good resource I had and if you need any help dont hesitate to ask.

Hey
well i am completly for same sex marriage. Although it is not what i grew up believing and have been told otherwise my whole life i know that we all deserve the same rights. I believe that only because something is different it doesnt mean its wrong. Me myself am not part of any religion, but my parents are they believe that same sex is different and therefore wrong. They have the view that these people need help to go back to what according to them is "right". I have gotten into many disagreements with them on this topic because i myself have some friends and family members who have this orientation. I try to show them that they don't have to believe it is right, but that they have to be tolerant.
