Throughout these blog I will be informing you about the rhetoric in culture. As many of you may already know there are many different cultures and customs throughout the world. Every culture has its own believes and values. Culture is “the meaning of life for an entire society”. A culture can be the system of shared beliefs, values, customs, language, and behaviors that the members of society use to cope with their world and with one another, and that are transmitted from generations to generations.
Cultures require different faiths and customs. The most important element of a culture is the religious belief of a society. For many years we have had the Christian, Catholic, Muslim, Buddhism, and many more religious beliefs throughout my blog you will be able to learn and appreciate every culture and religion.

Jennifer I see a lot of potential in your blog. Personally, I am very interested and hope that you are able to expand into the different types of cultures. I would like not only to see the cultures of certain ethnic groups or religious groups but also of the culture of schools, certain work places, diverse communities, etc. I would like to know how culture makes certain communities safe but others dangerous. But of course this is your blog and it is up to you how you express yourself in it so I will certainly return to see how you expand on culture.

Dear Jenny everything you stated is true and interesting. From what read i uderstood that one of the many importance of culture is religious beliefs and values. Is religious belief and values important to you and in your culture? You seem very interested in talking about it and come to think of it, it relates to the portfolio we are doing for humanities class about identity. One of the major things that make you who you are are your beliefs and values. Maybe this gives yu aand idea of relating the rhetoric of culrue with identity. I'm looking forward to rading what other rhetorics of culture you talk about.

Dear Jennifer,
I read about your blog and wanted to read more about it. Your introduction was good and i thought about what kind of cultures you might explain deeper because there are so many different types of cultures in the world that you might not even know where to start from. Maybe you could start of from talking about your own culture and then compare them to others, well those can b just some ideas. Anyways I would like to learn more about the different cultures and how they are unique from one another. Also, I would like to learn the differences and similarities between cultures.

Jennifer,
I think that you might be able to help me with my topic, as for I'm doing the rhetoric of genders, I had mentioned that I wanted to add how different cultures show sexism. I'm curious as to see how you might show cultures and I myself hope to gain knowledge and ideas for my topic. Can't wait to read your blogs.

Dear Jennifer,
Through your writing, I can really see that you understand and perhaps even enjoy the multi-cultures out there in the world. It is very interesting because as a Christian I am directly affiliated with various religions and due to my travels across the globe, I have encounter and met many bizarre cultures.
Like what many have commenting you, I believe that you should open the curtains to as many as cultures, traditions and religions as possible. You may never know how interesting a culture can get and how fun it is to learn about people who aren't necessarily like us. Having that said, I am really hoping to read more of your future posts and really hope that you can enjoy learning about the rhetoric in culture.

Jennifer, once i read your post, a thing that was great was the fact that you gave the readers a definition to the world culture and that is cool. Describing the different types of cultures was good because by clarifying to the readers it gives them a better understanding of the meaning of culture. Furthermore, by reading your welcome post it gives us a showing from the different level of educations you have from one school to another.

Jennifer, like your classmates, I was impressed that you defined culture right from the get-go. Now, I'd like you to decide on an angle from which you can explore the rhetoric, or purposeful language, of different cultures. I'd recommend that you begin by looking at a specific culture you are part of, and then asking, "How do people of this culture use words to persuade one another?"
