Christianity

Throughout centuries new religions and customs have been developed. The developments of these religions and customs have been due to the prosecution of religions. It also involves the different believes of individuals in certain groups. And the criticism a group of people receive just for focusing on certain believes and customs.
One of the most controversy religions has been Christianity. Till this day Christianity s followed and practiced. Christianity is the believe in god being superior and the most powerful person that existed. Many who follow Christianity believe that God is the answer to hope, desire, peace, and dreams.Christianity is a monotheistic religion centered in the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth as presented in the "New Testament". Those who are Christian believe that there is only one god while others with different religion believE there is more than a god above us.
Many of the religions that exist till this day believe in God. The only difference is their view of god and his “miracle’s”. Many religions view god as the master of the world while others view him just as a man who can’t create miracles and an individual who is the reason to all the reactions and causes of life.

Whatever or who ever you are in life just remember God does exist and can help you in many ways even if you haven’t experience it or can’t see it. I encourage all of you to have hope at least a bit, for God.

Well Jenny,

Overall, you hag a wonderful blog. However, there is one part I did not quite fit in with. The last paragraph. The reason why is because you are trying to persuade the reader to love god. For me since i am catholic I was satisfied. You have to remember not everyone believe in god.

There is many religions out there and yes, most of them believe in god. However, there are people that don’t think there is a god. Some people are more into science. Well what I am trying to say is to change your closing statement.

Hello Jennifer,

As you may be aware, I am a Christian myslef and could possibly consider myself a master in Christianity. I attend Church every week and could make connections of several related religions such as Judaism and Muslim. All what you said is correct and very well said, but what I do not understand how is rhetoric used in Christianity. I do understand how rhetoric is used in Christianity becase of my prior knowledge, but as I read your blog I didn't. Some people do notunderstand the connection between rhetoric and religion so you need to include how ther are connected.

Overall, I feel that yuor blog was well written and it is true what Hugo said, you need to respect other people. That is the foremost essential principle in theology.

Hey Jenny,

Well as i have read you are right on one thing, different religions believe different things. Since i am Catholic i know this is true because I believe En La Virgen De Guadalupe, The Virgin Mary, as well as El Senor De Esqipulas. The one thing that you have to mindful even though i believe in god, is that not all of our peers believe in god. This is just a recommendation I don't want you to feel offended.

I have a question for you though, what's your views in other religions than Christianity? Why do you think all of us should believe in god? As far as I'm concerned the rest of your blog is great. I hope you target other popular religions like Roman catholics, Judaism, and muslim. Just one more question though , Is this the religion that you and your family follow? Well good job and keep up the good work. Just be careful of typos.

Hello Jennifer
I would like to begin by saying happy late birthday and by telling you that i enjoyed reading your blog. You had a good summary about Christianity. You gave me a really well explanation of what is christian faith, but you went on a tangent when it came to the rhetoric in the religion/culture.

Personally i would like to say i am not of the christian religion or any religion. I am agnostic i have no religion, but it is always good to learn some more about new cultures and the beliefs they hold.Overall this is a very good blog keep up the great work and just try next time to incorporate the "rhetoric".

Dear Jenny,
I do agree that there are many different religions and all do believe in god. There are certain individuals that do not believe in god which means they don't have a religion and do you why that is? I don' t know, but i wonder why. It is tru that people believe in god and see him differently in terms of what he is as part of our world. Like you said that some believe that he is a person that makes miracles and other think he the person in charge of what happens in our earth.

Dear Jennifer,
I have read your blog and got me thinking because I was raised as a christian and my mom was so into it that when she gave birth to me she named me James "Christian" Reburiano. I do believe that god could do anything and if you believe in him he will show you miracles that you wouldnt imagine.

But like the other posts said there are some people who doesnt believe in god. Some people probably doesnt even believe in anything. Mayb you could talk about other religions in the next post.

Dear Jennifer,

I've never thought of God as just a man who couldn't create miracles, causing reactions in life. It's a good different point of view that I was unknown to. My suggestion is that you could also try to compare two different religions; maybe it's a bad idea or wrong idea. It would be good to see the differences together. I see that you truly believe in God, but don’t try to force beliefs in other people. It's ok to have them I respect it, but in my understanding some people may get upset. I would also like to know more details on why is Christianity a controversy?
P.S. I also have an understanding that I just recently heard some people believe that Jesus of Nazareth (or Jesus de Nazareth) was a philosopher. Also, that he studied in the best schools and learned philosophy and re- telling you this of whom I heard it from that's how Jesus of Nazareth (Jesus de Nazareth) convinced people with his words, that he had knowledge and used it as his strength to get what he wanted. Honestly, it's not my opinion, but I’m re-telling what I just recently heard. To give you more distinct opinions, I hope this would help you.

Sincerely,
Masyeli M.

I don't believe that you captured christianity, as it was, totally correct. Christianity is more than just about desire and more about salvation. Those that are christians are told to believe in him and if not you go to hell. They depict a picture of hell as the most gruesome of all places, where you can get stabbed a million times and pulled apart limb from limb and not die. They use a great deal of pathos. They say GOD is merciful, but also fear him.

Dear Jennifer,
This was a good blog but I think that you need to tell us how rhetoric is used in the religion. For example, a perfect use of ethos within the religion is how Jesus was beaten and humiliated before being executed. This would built Jesus' ethos more than it has already been built by his miracles and good deeds to the people. It would prove that he truly was the Son of God. I also want to advise that you might not just want to stick to religion for all of you blogs, culture can be many other things.

Jennifer Rosales,

i agree with you because there are people with different beliefs and they create their own religion. i myself is a mormon and the beliefs of the mormon church sometimes makes me ashamed of my religion. the reason is because Mormonism believes that homosexuals do not have the right to get married and raise children. they are strong supporters of Proposition 8. not all is lost because they believe in god. Edwin is also a Mormon, we both go to the same church, Church of Latter Day Saints. i haven't been going but i still have god in my heart and in my mind. i may be away from my church but they will always be in my heart.
