Same-Sex Attraction

As many of you may already know, religion is developed through a group of people who share common believes.
Believes that would lead to a path of understandment and hopefully acceptance throughout society. A path, that usually results in the judgment with in others. A judgment, whose acumen development could lead to the pragmatical use of rejection and prosecution.
With in time, many view “same-sex attraction” as a religion. A religion of difference and uniqueness. A religion, who’s only purpose it to live peacefully with in a world of antidiscrimination and antiracism. A world who would consider the ideal of equality sustainable. An ideal that with in faith would lead to absolute freedom. Not only with in those who are considered “normal” but also with in those who are different. Nether the less, this a world of freedom and equality with in the many differences not a world of expressed hate.
In the constitution, it is clearly stated that under any means every individual is equal and there fore should be treated the same. Through many centuries “same-sex couples” have fought and struggled for equality. So why can’t they receive that equality desired? Aren’t they as well humans and deserve the same right to be protected and free?
Questions that continue to arose and bring this topic into a more controversy.
When will they gain their freedom?
[In my opinion, this specific religion uses pathos and logic. The words used throughout this religion are very contagious. There use of facts creates a very logical state of mind in which almost every individual should be able t understand their differences and need as humans. As this specific religion sates: God is the judge of your actions and life. Not the judge of your likes with in gender. Therefore, God will punish those who sin not those who are different.]

AP Students: I would like to ask for a bit of help. I am in search of further data. As many of you may already know my research paper will be based on Same-Sex Marriage. I would like to ask from you, that if you would like to participate to please send me a comment if you support or don’t support Same-Sex Marriage. Of course this is only if you would want to participate.
-Thank You..!

The Catholic Church

As time progresses many religions are developed to create diversity among society. With in this time acceptance of religions were created as well as prosecutions among the different believes.
The most known and practice religions have been known to be the Catholic and Christian religion. The Catholic church is the world's largest and oldest Christian Church. At the beginning it was proved that the Catholics and Christians shared the same believes and values. With in time their believes and values became different and diverse that their similarities are rare and uncommon. During a certain period of time the Catholic church represented over half of all Christians and one sixth of the worlds population.
The catholic church focuses on a specific mission which is spreading the message of Jesus Christ and the importance of The Sacraments. It also traces the foundation of Jesus and the Twelve Apostles. The Catholic Church believes that its mission is founded upon Jesus command to his followers to spread faith across the world. Their purpose is to reward the magnanimous people and lead those with sins into the path of faith and "safeness". The Catholic church believes that there is only one eternal god but they also believe in the existence of other possible gods such as : The Virgin Mary.
Furthermore, the development of new believes and values throughout the Catholic Church has established a fundamental church that has been able to grow through time.
[From my review my blog, contains more logic than any other type of rhetoric because some of the details and or facts stated of the Catholic Church are lucidly obvious to many.]

Comparing Christianity and Judaism

As many of you may already know Christianity and Judaism are somewhat similar. Even though they still share many differences among religious believes and traditions.
As many of you have been asking: Do Jews believe more in God or Jews? Were do they stand? Well to be honest I was also a bit confused with this question. So I decided to ask for help to Ms. Vernon.
Here is her respond: Jews always believed that someone from their race would be brought to this world to become their leader and later lead them to a path of glory or a better future. Thousands of years passed and Jews waited patiently for that day. One day Jesus arose to this world. When this occurred Jews were separated into their believes. Some believed that Jesus was that leader they have been waiting for. While, others believe he wasn’t.
(Just thought I shared it with you my fellow classmates because it was a very interesting aspect)
Christianity is the believe of God and Jesus being superior and the savor’s of this world.
Judaism is the believe of God and Jesus. The difference is that Jews are known to accept and worship more God than Jesus due to the different believes of specific Jews.
The all-important difference between Christianity and Judaism is the Person of Jesus Christ. Christianity teaches that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the Old Testament while Jews believe that God was. The Person and work of Jesus Christ is the one primary issue that Christianity and Judaism cannot agree upon due to the different believes and aspects of different eras.

Christianity and Judaism both share a rhetorical strategy known as pathos. Both religions share the idea and believe of the “Old Testament”. The Old Testament provides information of the being and development of this world. It also discusses the sacrifices of both Jesus and God.
Christianity is known to have a stronger believe in the Bible which its main focus is in Jesus and his sacrifices for everyone in this world. Judaism believe more in “The Torah” which main focus is in God and his contribution to this world.

Well I hope I answered all of your thoughts of how rhetoric falls in place in both Christianity and Judaism.

Judaism

Judaism is the religion of Jews. Judaism comes from the Greek Ioudaismos, derived from the Hebrew and Yehudah. There are currently about eight-teen million Jews throughout the world. They are mainly concentrated in North America estimating about seven million and 4.5 million in Israel.
Judaism is a monotheistic religion based on principles and ethics embodied in Hebrew Bible known as the Tanakh or Talmud. Judaism is one of the oldest religious traditions still being practiced till today. The principles of Judaism have had an influence in other religions such as Islam and Christianity.
Judaism began with the covenant between God and Abraham. Throughout the culture of Judaism many principles were developed and established. The most important and sacred one has been known to be the belief in a single God who created the universe and continues to govern it. Many Jews believe that God established a covenant with the Israelites and their descendants and revealed his laws and commandments to Mose on Mount Sinai in the form of the Written and Oral Torah.
Throughout the development of Judaism many Jews have suffered slavery, anarchic, self-government, conquest and exile. The most controversy act that occurred to Jews was the Holocaust. The Holocaust was an act that was developed by the Germans who mostly were known as the Nazi’s. The Nazi’s were a group of people throughout Germany who were known for their discrimination, corruption and power. The Nazi’s were able to control and gain power throughout Israel capturing Jews and realizing them into concentration camps. Were they would either be used for labor or put to death due to their weak abilities. Throughout this period of time many Jews were prosecuted and abused. Many women, men and children were killed for the simple reason of being a Jew who followed Judaism and considered being part of a minority.
Till this day many Jews still believe in the main principles developed known as:
1.God exist
2.God is one and unique
3.God is incorporeal
4.God is eternal
5.Prayer is to be directed to God alone and no other
6.the word of prophets are true
7.Moses was the greatest of the prophets and his prophecies are true
8.the Written Torah and Oral Torah were given to Moses
9.there will be no other Torah
10.God knows the thoughts and deeds of men
11.God will reward the good and punish the wicked
12.the messiah will come
13.the dead will be resurrected
Many believe that Jews are God’s chosen people. This implies that God has selected Israel to receive the study of the Torah, to worship him and only him, to rest on the weekly Sabbath, and to celebrate the festivals. This doesn’t mean that Jews are superior to other groups it just implies what is stated in the Jewish Bible (Exodus 19:5). It also explains the importance of a boy reaching his Bar Mitzvah on their thirteen birthday and girls reaching their Bat Mitzvah in their12irthday. The celebrations of these specific birthdays are to imply teens adulthood and show their responsibility to follow the Jewish commandments and laws.
Therefore there are many truly Jews in this world but throughout this culture Judaism has also developed new thinkers and believers. Some Jews view God as a great moral teacher while others view him as a false prophet or as an idol of Christianity. Some Jews will not even say his name due to the prohibition against saying an idol’s name.
Judaism affirms the inherent goodness of the world and the people in it as creations of God. Jewish believer are able to sanctify their lives and draw closer to God by performing his “divine commandments.”

Christianity

Throughout centuries new religions and customs have been developed. The developments of these religions and customs have been due to the prosecution of religions. It also involves the different believes of individuals in certain groups. And the criticism a group of people receive just for focusing on certain believes and customs.
One of the most controversy religions has been Christianity. Till this day Christianity s followed and practiced. Christianity is the believe in god being superior and the most powerful person that existed. Many who follow Christianity believe that God is the answer to hope, desire, peace, and dreams.Christianity is a monotheistic religion centered in the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth as presented in the "New Testament". Those who are Christian believe that there is only one god while others with different religion believE there is more than a god above us.
Many of the religions that exist till this day believe in God. The only difference is their view of god and his “miracle’s”. Many religions view god as the master of the world while others view him just as a man who can’t create miracles and an individual who is the reason to all the reactions and causes of life.

Whatever or who ever you are in life just remember God does exist and can help you in many ways even if you haven’t experience it or can’t see it. I encourage all of you to have hope at least a bit, for God.

Throughout these blog I will be informing you about the rhetoric in culture. As many of you may already know there are many different cultures and customs throughout the world. Every culture has its own believes and values. Culture is “the meaning of life for an entire society”. A culture can be the system of shared beliefs, values, customs, language, and behaviors that the members of society use to cope with their world and with one another, and that are transmitted from generations to generations.
Cultures require different faiths and customs. The most important element of a culture is the religious belief of a society. For many years we have had the Christian, Catholic, Muslim, Buddhism, and many more religious beliefs throughout my blog you will be able to learn and appreciate every culture and religion.

Introduction

Welcome Dear class mates.
My name is Jennifer Rosales. I am currently a junior at Camino Nuevo High School. This has been my second year in Camino Nuevo. Last year for my sophomore year I transferred from Belmont to Camino Nuevo. Camino Nuevo has actually been one of the most dedicating school I ever been too. Camino Nuevo has been challenging but inspirational when it comes to my education. Throughout these two years Camino Nuevo has prepared me as an educational individual. It has also showed me the importance of being an agent of social change. I have also learned the importance of education itself in order to be the “best” and succeed in life.
Throughout the many challenging classes Camino Nuevo has to offer I was interested in the AP English and Composition course. This particular class caught my attention when I was notified that it would help me increase my writing and reading skills. Increasing my writing and reading skills is important to me because at times writing becomes my passion to express what I feel and what I desire while reading could become my weakness. At times reading could become difficult due to the hard literature and the expand vocabulary of an author. It also caught my attention when I was informed that it was a college course class and it would help me gain credit for college while still being in high school. College for me is important because I want to provide my family and myself with a better future.
